The Iron Is Still HOT!!!!

Sometimes you sit back and wonder - what will they think of next? It's 2013 and we have a LOT of really cool stuff that used to only exist in the movies. Sure we don't go to the moon anymore but who needs to leave Earth when you can have a 4K Ultra HDTV in your living room that's so sharp your eyes can barely tell the difference between that and 1080P? Really - come ooooonnnn :)

Sitting here on the sofa glancing at the ridiculously high-brow entertainment of Family Guy while cruisin' the 'net after starting the dishwasher I remember I have one more thing left to do - iron my dress shirts for the rest of the week. Sooooo - where's the device that gives my shirt that nicely pressed look and feel with the click of a button?

First of all let me say I know I know - I could just drop them off at the dry cleaners and pick them up later. I'd just be out a few bucks - per shirt - and I could actually use that time to get another half hour of sleep. But maybe I'm saving those few bucks - per shirt - to buy some cool new gadget like the Ipad 5 or something bigger like the Playstation 4 or Xbox Next (or 720 or whatever it's going to be called). Yes I could just throw the shirts back in the dryer for 20 minutes then hang them right up, but that doesn't look as good as an actual ironed shirt. And we may be geeks people but we still have to look good.

Just think about it though - wouldn't it be nice if you could put your shirts in something then either press a button or do the "there's an app for that" thing from your smartphone to have freshly pressed clothes? We could even give it a cool name like The Iron Chamber! Oooooohh! It would be a niche product starting out so if it was invented and you mentioned it around people that weren't as into tech would probably ask you something like "Isn't that the sequel to The Hurt Locker?" At which point you'd whip out your smartphone and show them the appropriately named App called The Hot Box - not to be confused with the 1972 independent sleazy movie about women in prison - even though I guess depending on how much game you have the situation can be manipulated into more than several types of innuendo. The app would have to have the option of assigning a ringtone or song to it that plays while you have it open - and you know that you're hearing that song from Nelly right now.

But back to the business at hand - no one's going to invent this in the next half hour right? So I have to actually iron my own stuff. So think about it though - put your shirts and/or pants in something, press a button, instant press! Pretty cool huh? Yeah you know it is :)!

TRADEMARK -  if anyone actually does anything with this idea you own me royalties!!!
